Healthy Meal suggestions for China Garden

Wow this place is horrible; undercooked, gelatinous chicken, frozen peas in fried rice, spring rolls look like it came from a freezer bag and egg drop soup that was so unappetizing, it went straight down the drain. When I tried to get a refund, they told me I had to bring my food there... well sir, it went into the trash because I couldn't stomach looking at it or smelling it one second longer! Do not waste your money or appetite on this place.

I will never offer this restaurant my business again. I ordered for two and both of our dishes were undercooked (both chicken / sweet & sour and general tso). I drove to the restaurant within 10 minutes of having this delivered and was told that they don't undercook chicken and i must have made this. After quite the argument, I was given my money back after being called all kinds of explicit names. Needless to say, the inside of the restaurant was extremely dusty, smelled horrible, and was in need of upgrades. Had I known this prior to my delivery order - I wouldn't have placed the order in the first place. Order at your own risk, but I suggest you avoid them by all means.

Always a great experience. I always special order dishes and it comes delivered (in under 30 mins) how I ordered. Tip: Know what you want before you call!

I was very disappointed tonight....I got a large shrimp lo mein and steamed dumplings...the lo mein noodles were done too much and were mushy and sticky...it was a smaller portion with very little shrimp (maybe about 12)...the dumplings were good but I've had better. The noodles were also cut smaller...just wasn't the same.... I never see anyone eating in there and the place looks dumpy...the ceiling lights need repairs...it's dark inside.

I've never had a bad experience. If you order enough they already know where you live and must recognize the number because the food arrives! VERY speedy service. They always say 30-45mins but it takes maybe 15-20, if that sometimes! Best chicken wings, pork fried rice, bone in spare ribs and the best sweet tea in town. Only complaint is they never bring you napkins or utensils!

China Garden was a subtle pleasure that caught me by surprise. Their selection of delicious food contains a plethora of Chinese options. Their menu was quite large and I found it very hard to select from their different meals. This is mainly due to the fact that I was ordering for my wife but it did not take to long. Their customer service was superb as well. I was given free food due to ordering a large amount of food. I ordered their pork fried rice which was epic. It reminded me of this stellar Chinese restaurant in Florida. Also I had their Singapore chow mei fun which was not very fun at all. It was kind of dry and bland. China Garden has a dining area as well. It is a little undersized but they make up for it with friendly service. I would come back to this restaurant any time. Their rice was delicious and their service is great. I would never order Singapore chow mei fun from this restaurant. It just seems to lack a spicy quality that I would expect from this type of dish.

i have lived in Goose Creek sc for 6 years, finally after surfing randomly i found eat24 asked for any chinese restaurants that delivered to GC, and this is the 1 that does. we will order again the fried chicken was fantastic, the crab rangoon was light and crispy my son loved the boneless ribs and fried rice. he don't like any meat with bones. waiting on the hubby to get home to see how he like his lo mein. he thinks the receipe has been lost just the fact that its not pizza makes me happy.

This is by far the best Chinese place in North Charleston! We live down the road and order all the time from here. The people are friendly. The food is so good! We have never had a bad meal from here.

The absolute best chinese food in North Charleston. Their food is consistant, fresh and truly delicious - will not waste my money on take out from anywhere else. Is family owned and they are the nicest folk to deal with. They deliver quickly and it is always piping hot. The portions are huge and we always have too much on purpose to make it last for the next day too.....love cold lo mein the next day. There is seating and you may eat in, but it is not the prettiest restaurant and their business is mainly take out (delivery and pick-up).

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
